Expextant grandparents’ classes
There are many books on the newborn care, handling, and upbringing that teach how to become good parents. However, we never have been taught to be good grandparents, and after the birth of a grandchild we often are unaware of the substance of this new role, which prompts us to return to the familiar role of the parent, thus precluding our children from learning and becoming good parents. The newborn is the child of your adult and reasonable children who are perfectly able to assume responsibility! Let your children to become good parents! And your chance is to try and enjoy the new and great role of a grandparent!
This is why the Stork’s Nest offers the Expectant grandparents’ classes where over two sessions “The newborn care” and “From parents to grandparents” you will have a chance to refresh your knowledge about the breastfeeding, clothing and the newborn care as well as psychologic support and practical advice how to derive happiness from the grandparent’s role. The classes are conducted by the mother of five, psychologist, breastfeeding promotion specialist Diāna Zande. The classes may serve as a good present from expectant parents to their own parents.
