Workout classes for expectant mothers
Starting from the 12th week of pregnancy to the birth of the baby all mothers to-be are welcome to visit out workout classes.
They represent low-load, relaxing antepartum classes comprising:
Gymnastics
Breathing
Relaxation
Birth positions and self-massage
During every class a midwife covers some topic of prime importance during pregnancy or answers questions depending on the fetal age and your particular problems. You will also be provided with handouts on things happening around and with you during this very special time that is filled with so many conflicting emotions and feelings.
These meetings will contribute to your feeling of safety and security, regulate the tone of uterine myometrium and improve fetal oxygen and nutrition supply. Classes require sportive attire, i.e. T shirt, loose trousers and socks. Our exercises do not require maternity belts.
Classes are organized once a week for one hour. You are kindly asked to apply in advance, as our groups are small - 5 to 7 mothers in a single group.
Classes are scheduled for Mondays at 2 p.m., 3.30 p.m., and 5 p.m.; on Tuesdays at 4.30 p.m. and 6 p.m. Classes are conducted by our physician and midwife Dina Ceple in conjunction with midwife to-be Aiva Zeidmane.
